Never have I seen a patty where it looks like the ground beef came DIRECTLY out of the grinder. Their "True North" version was perfect all the way through and the chips (fries) were as well, not to mention the strawberry milkshake. ”

“ I had a Halal Burger Combo just last month (September 28th, 2024), and this place was amazing. The prices were fair, I like the atmosphere, the Food, and everything else. This is the only restaurant that allows you to customize your Burger creation, including 30 toppings! I know I used to eat at a Former South St location at Bayview Village a couple of times there which was top-notch, but it got closed unfortunately. “ August 18, 2019, This is a fast casual burger restaurant with a small menu and high grade ingredients. I had the True North burger (bacon, maple sauce, cheese) with a poutine and a mocha shake for CAD 23.11. Although the limited menu options are hamburgers and hot dogs, the toppings and customizable choices available are huge. The staff member guided me through the options and made great recommendations. They took credit card. Update August 24, 2019, I went back and this time got the Bacon BBQ burger on whole wheat, double bacon, double patties. I paired it with the vegetable poutine which had cheese sauce and small chopped peppers. It was excellent. With a bottle of water, the total came to around CAD 22. ”

“ This place is great. Its a healthier burger joint and they sell boylans pop ! The atmosphere is always nice and clean (I always see workers cleaning and doing bathroom inspections) and things are always full and faced. I'm 98% sure the gentleman in the picture (sorry he's tough to see, wanted to respect his privacy) owns the place and he does a WONDERFUL Job running the show. A genuine and hardworking guy. Burgers are fantastic and always made fresh. Toppings are always fresh and plenty variety to choose from. Pricey but worth it. You get what you pay for. Sorry I didn't take a photo of my burger. “ We are always on a hunt for a good burger place and South St burger is one spot we have not visited yet. We were going to visit the trafalgar location in Oakville but this one was closer. I have visited many restaurants recently, and I must say that we had a great dining experience inside the restaurants. Especially in covid times it was refreshing to see a clean place. First off the staff was very nice and friendly. It was during dinner time so I expected a delay but we were told 7 mins and thats exactly what it was. (what a concept).. even with other orders coming in we did not wait long. I asked for some sanitizer to wipe off the table as we are used to, but I was told that he just wiped all the tables down and that I may do so if I want to but while waiting for our order the staff wiped the tables after guests....again, something i have not seen at a burger place in a while. Our order was called up and we really enjoyed the meal. I realize I have a preference of a burger and this place makes a great grilled burger.. not fried. The patty is not dry and not greasy... very flaverful and the bun although not soft.. (it has a slight glaze, like a brioche bun) its nice combination with the meat. My son had a cheeseburger with ketchup (which he always has) and I had the Nacho burger. He really enjoyed his cheeseburger and devoured it in seconds.. the nacho burger was good but it did not look like the ad on the menu... it was good though... Fries were also good.. stays soft until the end. Overall, the burgers were great and although they cost more than mcds etc.. they are good and worth the money. On my sons list of burgers its ranking #4 out of 15 he's tried in the resent past. I though it was a good 4* and with the cleanliness of the place and friendly staff its a 4.5* for sure. while we were finishing up I heard the manager talk to his young staff and let them know they had a good day today (which is really nice as QSR places dont always value their staff.. so it was nice to hear).
